1. About the Service

PrepTicks provides an AI-powered online practice platform for 11+ exam preparation. We offer practice questions, timed tests, and performance analytics designed for children preparing for grammar school entrance exams in England.

Disclaimer: We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to GL Assessment, Quest Assessment, or any grammar school. Our questions are original content designed to help develop skills tested in 11+ exams.

2. Eligibility

Accounts must be created by a parent or guardian who is at least 18 years old. By creating an account, you confirm that:

  • You are the parent or legal guardian of the child using the service
  • You consent to your child using the service
  • You are at least 18 years old

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • One account per child — multiple children require separate accounts
  • You must provide accurate information during registration
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

4. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Free accounts have limited access as described on our pricing page
  • Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You can cancel at any time from your account settings — access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Prices may change with 30 days' notice

5. Cancellation & Refunds

  • 14-day cooling-off period: If you subscribe and change your mind within 14 days, you may request a full refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
  • After 14 days, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute our questions or content
  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer our AI question generation
  • Use the service for any commercial tutoring without written permission

7. Intellectual Property

All questions, explanations, software, and content on this platform are owned by PrepTicks. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

8. No Guarantee of Results

While our platform is designed to help children develop skills tested in 11+ exams, we cannot guarantee:

  • Any specific exam result or score
  • Admission to any specific school
  • That our questions will appear on any real exam

Performance depends on many factors including individual effort, consistency, and the specific exam paper set.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
